Saturday, Dec. 24 * 2:42 a.m. There was a disturbance on Dunkeld Drive. * 5:20 a.m. There was an accident at the intersection of Buckingham and Trafalgar. * 2:27 p.m. There was a one-vehicle accident on Cooper. * 2:42 p.m. Sara McClelland, 21, was issued a citation for following too closely at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Benton County Road 40. * 3:12 p.m. A dog from Bayhill Lane was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. * 10:04 p.m. There was an accident at the intersection of Cooper and Arkansas Highway 340.
Sunday, Dec. 25 * 4:30 p.m. A dog was hit at the intersection near U.S. Highway 71 and Pinion Valley Drive. * 7:20 p.m. On Spring Lane, a person reported hearing six shots fired from different directions.
Monday, Dec. 26 * 6:33 a.m. There was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Benton County 40. * 4:17 p.m. There was a house broken into on Finger Circle. The items were recovered. * 5:52 p.m. Ryan Schenkel, 28, was issued a citation for no proof of insurance and an expired driver's license. * 6:33 p.m. There was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Benton County Road 40.
Tuesday Dec. 27 * 9:09 a.m. A woman reported her billfold stolen while working at the Bella Vista Flea Market. * 11:03 a.m. There was a disturbance between a woman and her daughter on Enfield Drive. * 1:40 p.m. A yard ornament was reported stolen from a property on Overton Drive. * 2:20 p.m. A large, black dog was reported running loose near Stronsay Circle. * 5:15 p.m. Two large black dogs were reported running loose near Oldham. * 6:21 p.m. A man reported his checks stolen from his mailbox on Billingsley Drive.
Wednesday, Dec. 29 * 2:27 a.m. Two white horses were loose and put back on Manchester Drive. * 2:53 a.m. Cheryl Bendt, 38, was issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Town Center. * 7:11 a.m. There was a car-versus-deer accident on Bella Vista Way. * 8:48 a.m. A person reported damage to a gravel yard. The person had already repaired the damage. * 12:28 p.m. A person on Arnold Lane reported that two large dogs behind a small fence appear viscous at times and could possibly jump over the fence. * 2:03 p.m. A large black and white dog, possibly a boxer, was running loose constantly and getting into trash. * 3:10 p.m. A hot check was received at Bella Vista Cellular inside Allen's Foods. * 4:29 p.m. A person walked in to the Sheriff's Office on Huntley Lane to report someone was forging checks in his name. * 4:54 p.m. A disturbance was reported on Austell. * 10:21 p.m. James Rogers, 42, was booked on a Rogers' warrant and for public intoxication. * 9:56 p.m. Loud music was reported on Metfield Drive at a blue house.
Thursday Dec. 29 * 10:47 a.m. A package was reported stolen from a porch on Skyline Drive. * 11:05 a.m. A man reported his mail stolen from his mailbox on Cartmel Lane. * 12:26 p.m. Three small puppies were dumped near the intersection of Brentwood Drive and Camden. The puppies were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. * 12:33 p.m. A beagle was found near Ellwood Circle and taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. * 2:03 p.m. A German shepherd and a black dog were reported running loose near Guilford. * 6:54 p.m. There was a three-vehicle accident on Bella Vista Way. * 7:54 p.m. Rottweilers were reported running loose near Woodbridge Drive. * 9:07 p.m. There was a disturbance at a residence on Walney Drive. |
