Board members elect new officers

Outgoing School Board member DiAnna Wallace will be recognized and thanked for her years of service to the Pea Ridge School District, as incoming board member Darin Wright is welcomed to his first School Board meeting Monday.
The School Board meeting is at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the media room of the Pea Ridge High School.
Items on the agenda include • The consent agenda which includes financial reports and the minutes of previous meetings • Re-organization of board, which includes electing new officers • A presentation by the Future Farmers of America • Personnel, including resignations and hirings • The Legislative Audit Report Ending Fiscal Year June 30, 2007; and • An amendment to the student handbook.
The meeting is open to the public.
