Turkey Shoot and Rib Cook-off

The Northeast Benton County (NEBCO ) Volunteer Fire Department's 15 th annual Turkey Shoot and Rib Cook-off is set to begin at 9 a.m. Sept. 27 at NEBCO Fire Station No. 1, U. S. Highway 62 and S. Wimpy Jones Road in Garfield. In addition to shotgun, poker and claybird turkey shoots, there will be bingo, both silent and live auctions, an allday long raffle with prizes, the human bowling ball game, live music, plus games and prizes for the kids.
Lunch will be served from 11: 30 a.m. to 2: 30 p.m. The menu includes St. Louis style ribs, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Adults are $ 7 and children under 10 are $ 5. A concession stand will also be open through out the day.
