Metamorphosis ! - the summer reading for teens at the Rogers Public Library - is for grades 8 through 12. Set your goal for reading this summer and win weekly prizes. Read 10 hours and enter a drawing to win cool electronics like an iPod Shuffle.
A writer's workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 22 and 29. What do the authors of "Eragon, " "The Outsiders," and "Frankenstein "have in common ? They were all published when they were teenagers. Share your writing with others to transform your writing into art. For grades 8 through 12.
Teen movies are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for grades 8 through 12. These movies are brought by the Rogers Public Library Foundation and the Rogers Public Library Teen Scene.

Come join in for a magnifying performance with Marty the Balloon Man at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 16. Come for the balloon art, magic and fun.
Little Tykes Story Time will begin at 9: 30 a.m. July 17. Gymboree will get the Little Tykes active. This program is best for little ones ages 1-3.
Preschool Story Time will begin at 9: 30 a.m. July 17. Gymboree will get the Preschoolers active. This program is best for little ones ages 3-5.
Family Friday Movies at the Rogers Public Library begin at 10 a.m. July 18. Enjoy a Friday for the family with a cartoon followed by a movie. This week, the library will present "Mickey Mouse"and "Willow"rated PG in the Friends of RPL Community Room. Run time is 126 minutes.
Wings, Stings & Crafty Things will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18. Drop-in between these hours and make a clothespin bug. All materials provided.
Come join in for the magnifying performance of Bees with David Cheek at 2 p.m. July 19.
Monday Movie Mania will begin at 1 p.m. July 21. Enjoy a movie and popcorn with the entire family. This week, the Children's Library will show "Ant Bully"with the voices of Julia Roberts and Nicolas Cage. The movie is rated PG and run time is 88 minutes. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Bilingual Story Time will be held at 6: 30 p.m. July 22. Listen to some stories about flowers and make a bouquet of paper flowers. A family story time with stories, songs and rhymes in English and in Spanish. This program is for the entire family.
Come enjoy the magnifying performance of Grubs, Slugs and Magical Bugs at 10 a.m. July 23. Join the fun as Magicianess Teresa T. combines magic and creepy crawlies.
Little Tykes Story Time will begin at 9: 30 a.m. July 24. Join Miss Jess for a moving and grooving story time. ! This program is best for little ones ages 3-5.
Preschool Story Time begins at 10: 30 a.m. July 24. Join Miss Jess for a moving and grooving active story time with books, rhymes, songs and a craft to follow. This program is best for little ones ages 3-5.

Enjoy the magnifying performance of Things with Wings at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 30. Join Toucan Jam as they explore legends about birds, bees, butterflies and other winged critters using exotic musical instruments.
