Carlos M. Andrade
Carlos M. Andrade, 38, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, June 21, 2008, in Rogers. He was born Oct. 7, 1969, in Lima, Peru, to of Carlos Augusto Andrade and Maria Isabel Ascencio.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and of the A. L. S. organization. He enjoyed football, soccer, watching the L. A. Lakers and spending time with his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Andrade; two sons, Carlos M. Andrade, Jr. and Anthony Andrade of the home; his mother, Maria Ascencio of Rogers; three brothers, Jesus Andrade, Angelo Andrade and Cesar Andrade; and three sisters, Maria Mendoza, Carmen Mendoza and Guadalupe Andrade.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with Monsignor David LeSieur. Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.
Pallbearers were Jesus Andrade, Angelo Andrade, Alejandro Alvarado, Oscar Alvarado and Roni Snyder.

Marcella Balczynski, 92, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, June 20, 2008, at her home. She was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., to Martin and Mary Groya Sulinski.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. She was a volunteer at the St. Mary’s Gift Shop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Balczynski and a daughter, Donna Kamradt.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Balczynski and Judy Balczynski of Gateway, Ark.; a daughter and son-inlaw, Sandi Glynn and William Glynn of Rogers; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial and interment was held in Burbank, Ill. Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. Wanda L. Eubanks
Wanda L. Eubanks, 75, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Escondido, Calif., died June 19, 2008, at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Ark. She was born Jan. 26, 1933, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Orren H. and Grace Spencer Drain.
She moved with her family to Berkeley, Calif., at the age of five. She attended the University of California at Berkeley where she obtained her nursing degree. In 1956, she married John Eubanks and they raised their family in Escondido, Calif. They lived there for 30 years and moved to Rogers in 1989. They were married 39 years at the time of his death in 1995. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed collecting antiques, reading and traveling.
Survivors include her son, John Eubanks of Torrance, Calif.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Devon Richardson and Kirk Richardson of Vista, Calif., Dr. Carol Ross and Steve Ross of Rogers, Ark., Dr. Tricia May and Jeff May of Reno, Nev.; and four grandchildren, Danielle Undheim of Vista, and Olivia, John, and Emily May, all of Reno.
A memorial service was held Monday, June 23, at Open Door Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor Karl Roten. Cremation arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers. Helen Lucille Fox
Helen Lucille O’Hair Fox, 81, of Rogers, died June 15, 2008. She was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Otego, Kan., to Pearl Ray O’Hair and Dorothy Jean Clemons.
She attended Fort Hayes State Teachers College at Fort Hayes, Kan., and Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kan. She taught four years in the Jewell County Elementary School.
She became an ordained minister with the Association of International Gospel Assemblies, headquartered in De Soto, Mo., at the same time receiving an Evangelistic Charter for campground ministries. She served four years as international chairman of the Women in Christ for that association, and 12 years as the chairman of the Arkansas District Eight Women in Christ.
She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lewis Fox; three daughters, Dorothy Honnen of Dorsey, Ill., Diane Young of Rogers and Carla Morgan of Marco Island, Fla.; a number of nieces and nephews; and 23 grand, greatgrand and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, at Faith Christian Center of Bentonville, with Pastor Mike Davis officiating. A private burial was in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Cindy Griffith
Cindy Griffith, 55, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at her son’s home in Greenwood, Ark. She was born Sept. 24, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert Peterson and Marise Peterson.
She worked with Beverly Health Care for more than 17 years. She was a longtime member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Rogers. She enjoyed reading and had read the Bible through several times.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Peterson; and a sister, Marsha Stevens.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Tim Tibbits and Charlene Tibbits, and Jeremy Griffith and Kaitlyn Griffith, all of Greenwood, Ark., and Anthony Tibbits and Melinda Tibbits of Rogers; her mother, Marise Peterson of Bentonville, Ark.; four brothers, Rick Peterson of Lowell, Ark., Roger Peterson of Harrisonville, Mo., Gregory Peterson of Kansas City, Mo., and Kenneth Peterson of Bentonville; a sister, Karen Roughton of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. Tuesday, June 17, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Rogers.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Rogers with the Rev. Norman Hamby and the Rev. Russell Hamby. Burial was at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse, Ark. Arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.

Courtney Rachelle Benningfield Groves, 21, of Bentonville, Ark., died June 18, 2008, in Cave Springs, Ark. She was born Sept. 30, 1986, in Fayetteville, Ark.
She was a graduate of Shiloh Christian High School and a business school graduate of the University of Arkansas. She enjoyed her dogs, fishing, baking and cooking. She was a member of The Church at Pinnacle Hills, where she served on the Baptismal Team. She was an avid supporter and volunteer of the H. O. P. E. Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tony Leto; grandmother, Marvel Naomi Benningfield; grandparents, Robert and Juanita Barrett; and her father-in-law, Sid Groves.
Survivors include her husband, Matt Groves of Bentonville; her father, Charles Benningfield and his wife Christine of Bentonville; her mother, Teresa Benningfield of Bentonville; two sisters, Ashley Benningfield of Bentonville and Brooke Hernandez and her husband David of Bentonville; two stepbrothers, Creed Fulton of Rogers and Jordan Fulton of Rogers; one stepsister, Katey Fulton of Bentonville; motherin-law, Kathy Farrar; father-inlaw, Bruce Farrar; brother-inlaw, John Farrar; three sistersin-law, Josie Farrar, Susannah Farrar and Sarah Burns; and grandparents, Nancy Leto of Springdale, Carol Groves of Johnson, Richard and Margo Mason of Rogers and Margaret and Joe Gaston of Bentonville.

Delbert Howerton, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, in Springdale, Ark. He was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Morrill, Kan., to Roy Howerton and Cora Crow Howerton.
He received a civil engineering degree from the University of Kansas. He moved to northwest Arkansas in 1991 from Coral Springs, Fla., and most recently had worked for Crafton Tull Associates in Rogers. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Rogers. He was a Kansas Jayhawk fan and enjoyed working on genealogy, collecting Smurf figurines and reading.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carol Howerton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marty Howerton and Marcy Howerton of Tulsa, Okla., and Gene Howerton and Julie Howerton of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter and sonin-law, Ann Truitt and Bradly Truitt of Fort Smith, Ark.; and seven granddaughters.

Vivian Marie Rhoton, 90, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, June 20, 2008, at the Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Brock, Okla., to Robert Lee Montgomery and Jimmie Dee Massey Montgomery.
She married Floyd Rhoton on Dec. 22, 1933, in Oklahoma. They worked most of their career time in California and then moved back to Holdenville, Okla. She moved to Rogers in 1984. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. She enjoyed her family, reading and art.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jewell Womack.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Rhoton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice Webster Smith and Jim Smith of Rogers; Dixie Banner and Mark Banner of Tulsa, Okla.; granddaughter, Dana Kittrell of Pea Ridge, Ark.; grandson, Todd Webster of Rogers; two great-granddaughters; three greatgrandsons; two great-great granddaughters; a great-great-grandson; a niece Linda Schichtle of Riverside, Calif.; and a nephew James Womack of Skiatook, Okla. John Samuel Sample II, 60, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, June 16, 2008. He was born June 14, 1948, to John Samuel Sample I and Martha Geneva Jett Sample.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and a member of the First Christian Church in Rogers.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Kent; a sister and brotherin-law, Amelia Arledge and George Arledge of Brandon, Miss.; and several other relatives.

Ann Marie Trahan, 45, of Seligman, Mo., died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at her home. She was born Dec. 12, 1962, in Mason City, Iowa, to Frank Marian King and Norma Jean Tims King.
She moved to this area in 1981 from Vancouver, Wash. She married Isreal Lee Trahan on Aug. 1, 1991.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank King.
Survivors include her husband, Isreal Lee Trahan; her mother, Norma Jean King of Rogers, Ark.; two sons, Nathan Lambert of Tyler, Texas, and Shawn Newcomb of Seligman; four daughters, Tanga Welech of Sulphur, La., Melissa Singleton of Starks, La., Christy Leland of Noel, Mo., and Karisa Trahan of Seligman; four brothers, Donald King and Frank King, both of Rogers, Troy King of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Mark King of Fayetteville, Ark.; and seven grandchildren.

Erwin “ Ted” Lee Weston, 69, of Garfield, Ark., died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at his home. He was born March 31, 1939, in Sand Ridge, Ill., to Orpha John Weston and Anna Ruth Sweet Weston.
He married Betty DeVault on Oct. 22, 1960. He served in the U. S. Navy on board the USS Bache. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was a member of the Brightwater United Methodist Church near Pea Ridge, Ark. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of the Lazy Beavers Camping Club.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Weston; two sons, John Weston and Raymond Weston, both of Garfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lee Ann Yates and Carl Yates of Garfield, and Lisa Summey of Rogers, Ark.; two brothers, Carl Weston and Ray Weston, both of Murphysboro, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 21, at the Brightwater United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Nichols. Burial was at the Pratt Cemetery, east of Rogers. Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
