Fayetteville

June M. Hornsby, 94, of Fayetteville died Friday, July 4, 2008, at Butterfield Trail Health Care Unit. She was born June 21, 1914, in Greenwood, S. D., the daughter of Fergus F. and Augusta Barnes Cron. She was a 1936 graduate of the Sioux Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Sioux Falls, S. D. In 1939 she attended the George Peabody College of Nursing in Nashville, Tenn., and received a certificate in Public Health Nursing. She served as a Public Health Nurse in Oklahoma until 1942. In 1959 she joined the nursing staff at the student Health Center at the University of Arkansas, retiring in 1976. She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served as historian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Hornsby, and one son, Rick Hornsby.

She is survived by two sons, Joe F. Hornsby of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Don Hornsby of Fayetteville, three grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Gosnell officiating. Burial will be at 9 a. m. Tuesday at Fairview Memorial Garden under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 p. m. Monday at Moore’s Chapel. Ronald Rockwell, 73, of Fayetteville died Monday, June 30, 2008, in Fayetteville. Arrangements will be announced by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.

Homer F. Stout, 60, of Fayetteville died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 14, 1947, in Fayetteville to Joseph N. and Georgie (Phelps ) Stout. Homer enjoyed fishing and being with his family. He is survived by a sister; Betty Hulse of Fayetteville. Graveside services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Whitehouse Cemetery with C. H. Siloam Springs

Dorothy Mae Goeking, 90, of Siloam Springs died June 18, 2008, in Siloam Springs. She was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Elkton, Mo., to Homer Davis and Audrey McCracken Davis. She had lived in Siloam Springs since 1995 after living in Lowry City, Mo., and Edwardsville, Kan. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Siloam Springs.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Glenn W. Jones and Charles Goeking.

She is survived by a son, Glen S. Jones of Siloam Springs; four stepdaughters, Nancy Budimlija of Lenexa, Kan., Janice Mock of Banger, Maine, Charla Blake of Bonner Springs, Kan., and Anita Lloyd of Spring Hill, Kan.; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p. m. Monday at Edwardsville, Kan., with the Rev. Glen Jones officiating. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, P. O. Box 69, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

Hindsville

Eugene Arnold Jones, 89, of Hindsville died July 4, 2008, in Huntsville. He was born Jan. 29, 1919, in Clifty to Sam and Lutie Graham Jones. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Christian Home Free Will Baptist Church of Colbaugh, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10, 021 and Hayes-Smith Post No. 137 of the American Legion, both in Huntsville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Mae Jones; and a daughter, Rita Jones.

He is survived by two sons, Bob Jones of Ramona, Okla., and Darrell Jones of Huntsville; three daughters, Joyce Alderson and Sylvia Shaver, both of Wichita, Kan., and Anita Worley of Huntsville; four sisters, Marlin Hadley and Wanetta Puryear, both of Springdale, Barbara Shipp of Huntsville and Joye Carnes of West Boro, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Dean Morris officiating. Interment will be in Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Kyle Worley, Jimmy Jones, John McClure, Wendell Shipp, Rick Puryear and Danny Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m. today at the funeral home. Tulsa, Okla.

Alleen Adams, 95, of Tulsa, Okla., died Saturday, July 5, 2008. Arrangements will be announced by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.

Golden, Colo.

Tracy Brad Wright, 50, of Golden, Colo., died Monday, June 30, 2008. He was born March 1, 1958, in Fayetteville, the son of E. Bradford Wright and Janeice Minor Wright Kraemer of Crawford County. He graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in geology at Arkansas Tech University. He worked in the oil and gas industry for 30 years, starting as a well logger and eventually owning an exploration company. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leetta (Cramer ) Wright; his mother, Janeice; two children, Sam and Molly; and three sisters, Jennifer, Jo-Robin and Joy.

A memorial celebration will be held at noon today at Boettcher Mansion on Lookout Mountain near Denver, Colo.
