Buck-Burford Katy Burford and John Buck, both of Rogers, were married June 7, 2008, at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. The Rev. Lionel Rose officiated the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Lynn and Russel Owen of Fort Smith and the late Ric Burford. Parents of the groom are Jan and Rick Buck of Rogers.
Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride wore an ivory, strapless gown of raw silk. She wore white gardenias in her hair. She carried a bouquet of pink ginger lily, anthurium, roses and white daisies.
Maid of honor was Katie Womack.
Best man was Ryan Litzinger.
Wedding music was provided by the Jamaican Mento Band.
A reception took place at UARK Bowl in Fayetteville.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will live in Rogers. Hignite-Tuck Ashley Nickhole Tuck of Fayetteville and Eric Dwane Hignite of Prairie Grove were married June 14, 2008, at Pratt Place Inn and Barn in Fayetteville. David E. Daniel officiated the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Karen S. and Larry D. Tuck of Fayetteville. Parents of the groom are Eva K. and Lee Couch of Prairie Grove and the late Roger L. Hignite.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of embroidered white satin with a 5 1 / 2-foot train. She carried a bouquet of blue, yellow and white roses.
Maid of honor was Haily Scates. Bridesmaids were Amanda Hice, Diane Smith, Kristal Guthrie, Jessica Hunt and Donna Dursum.
Best man was Craig Duham. Groomsmen were Monty Kyle, Colburn Webb, Clinton Tuck, Justin Harris and Michael Dursum.
Flower girls were Trinitee Hignite and Autiun Stewart. Ring bearers were Bryant Hignite and Dustin Tuck.
Wedding music was provided by Kelly Brady.
A reception took place following the ceremony at the same venue.
After a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple will live in Prairie Grove.
