Lindsey Dodgers fall 10-3 in Twin Lakes Classic semifinals

The Lindsey and Associates Dodgers finished third in the Twin Lakes Classic at Mountain Home, falling to Texarkana, Texas in a semifinal game Sunday, 10-3.
Garrett Myer hit a 2-run home run in the fourth inning, as the Dodgers managed to compile all three of their runs in the frame.
Myer, Colton West, Taylor Shaddy and Blake Roberts all finished the day 1-for-3 at the plate. West had a double.
“ Overall it was a positive weekend, ” Dodgers head coach Ashley Patrick said. “ We had really nice pitching performances from Chase Huchingson, Kyle Sargent, Jordan Pratt and Taylor Shaddy. They all pitched complete games with wins. ”
The Dodgers (13-6 ) will travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., Friday to participate in another American Legion tournament. Last season’s American Legion World Series champions from Columbia, Tenn., will be in the tournament.
