University of Arkansas police are seeking information on who vandalized a former campus residence hall early last week or the week before.
Officers responded to a vandalism report at Bud Walton Hall, located off Stadium Drive, at about 8 a.m. Nov. 24. A staff member told UA Police Department officers that someone broke several windows and spray painted a wall inside the building.
“They spray painted some eye glasses and a big nose on one wall,” UAPD Lt. Gary Crain said. “They also spray painted the letters of a fraternity. The letters were SAE.”
According to the UA’s Greek Life Web site, the university has a chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, whose letters are SAE.
Police said they believe the incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. Nov. 20 and 8 a.m. Nov. 24.
Crain said the building, which is across from Reynolds Razorback Stadium, is currently vacant and was a UA residence hall.
UAPD investigators had not identified any suspects as of Tuesday.
This case is still under investigation. Those with any information are urged to contact UAPD at 575-2311.
