Sexual assault

Averalio Beltran-Pacillas, 36, of Fayetteville, was charged Tuesday with two counts of second-degree sexual assault. He is accused of having sexual contact with a girl less than 14 years old on Oct. 13.

Battery plea

Leslie R. Glassbuner, 37, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 in Washington County Circuit Court to second-degree battery for punching another person Aug. 4, causing a broken nose and broken teeth.

Indecency charge dropped

A charge of sexual indecency with a child against Paul Everette Metcalf, 20, was dropped based on insufficient evidence and the location of the alleged victim being unknown, according to a filing Nov. 18 in Washington County Circuit Court.

Residential burglary, aggravated assault

Pamela Renae Simco, 47, was charged Nov. 18 with residential burglary, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal mischief. She is accused of breaking into and vandalizing the home of another person on Oct. 21. She is also alleged to have swung a hammer at a victim and purposely caused more than $ 500 in damage to the person’s home and property.

Aggravated robbery, drug charges

Juan Merino, 20, and Remberto Alexander Rivera, 18, were each charged Nov. 18 with accomplice to aggravated robbery, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The men are accused of threatening a man with a gun on Oct. 21 and possessing meth and a pipe.

Credit card fraud

Jeremy Lee Johnson, 28, was charged on Nov. 10 with two counts of accomplice to fraudulent use of a credit card. He is accused on Oct. 10 of driving another person to Wal-Mart and then a Shell gas station to use a fraudulent credit card.
