Flasher pleads guilty, gets 6 years in prison

A Cave Springs man admitted to exposing himself to young girls at the Springdale Public Library and agreed to serve 6 years in prison C. R. Richardson, 23, entered a negotiated guilty plea Friday to two counts of sexual indecency with a child, a Class D felony punishable by up to 6 years in prison.

He was sentenced to a total of 12 years- 6 years in the Department of Correction and six years suspended.

He is accused on June 11 and 19 of entering the Springdale Public Library and exposing his male sex organs to females under the age under 15.

Richardson is a convicted sex offender who was on probation at the time of these new offenses, according to court records.

He was charged in April 2004 with theft of property. He pleaded guilty in June 2004 and was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

His probation was revoked in July 2005 after he was charged with second-degree sexual assault. He was accused on March 28, 2005, of touching the buttocks of an 11-yearold girl.
