Events and Activities The Fayetteville Public Library and the Ecological Conservation Organization will host a screening of "Fighting Goliath: Texas Coal Wars"at 6 p.m. today in the librar y's Walker Community Room. Narrated by Robert Redford, the documentary film follows the story of unlikely partners that came together to oppose the construction of 18 coal-fired power plants planned for Texas. Ryan Rittenhouse, who is featured in the film, will lead a panel discussion after the film with Art Hobson, University of Arkansas professor emeritus of physics and member of the Arkansas Governor's Commissions on Global Warming, and with Robert McAfee, Carbon Caps Task Force / Arkansas Governor's Commissions on Global Warming. The event is free and open to the public. Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville will hold a church-wide garage sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 1910 Old Wire Road. All proceeds from the sale will go to support missions.
