Poker run to benefit Shop with a Cop

The Washington County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 69 is sponsoring a motorcycle charity poker run Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the "Shop with a Cop "program.
Each year during the Christmas season, the Washington County Fraternal Order of Police sponsors the Washington County "Shop with a Cop. "The Sheriff's Office spends about $ 100 on each child to purchase clothing and toys. To be able to help at least 100 children, as it did last year, the lodge must raise $ 10, 000 annually. These funds are raised through events such as the poker run.
Sign-in starts at 8 a.m. at the El Camino Real Restaurant located at 815 S. School Ave. in Fayetteville. The first bike out is at 10 a. m.; the last bike in is by 4: 30 p.m. The registration fee on the day of the event is $ 25. This includes a meal coupon and T-shirt. Donations may also be mailed to P. O. Box 506, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
