Lane closures scheduled this weekend for U.S. 412

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department has scheduled lane closures for U. S. 412 in Springdale while portions of the road are replaced.
Lanes will be closed from 11 p. m. today to 6 p. m. Saturday in the inside westbound lane and the center turn lane from approximately West End Street to Carley Road.
The work is part of a $ 731, 000 project to resurface the two-and-a-half-mile section of highway.
Motorists are urged to use care and think ahead while traveling through the work zone. They should remember to merge early as they approach the work zone and obey posted speed limits.
