The Northwest Arkansas PC User Group

The Northwest Arkansas Personal Computer User Group will meet at 1 p.m. in Suites 217, 219 and 221 of the Education and Computer Center in the north wing of the Jones Center for Families in Springdale. The program will be a question-and-answer session, moderated by club President Wes Eckles. The public is invited. Visitors are welcome without charge or obligation. International Association of Administrative Professionals

The Razorback Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will hold its monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. in the AT&T Conference Room at the Engineering Research Center, 700 Research Center Blvd., Fayetteville. This month’s program is “Ho! Ho! Help: Stress Management for the Holidays” by Mike Huddleston of the Arkansas Employee Assistance Program. This is a brown bag lunch. How to Write a Business Plan*

The Small Business and Technology Development Center will hold this seminar from 6-9 p.m. at FORGE Inc., 204 W. Main St., Huntsville. A business plan helps to define concepts, evaluate the competition, analyze markets, determine risks and estimate financial potential. Business plans are required to obtain a small-business loan. Participants will learn about the importance of planning and the elements that go into a good plan. For new entrepreneurs, Starting a Business in Arkansas is recommended as a first step. Cost is $35.

SBA Loan Workshop*

The Small Business and Technology Development Center will hold this program from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fayetteville Public Library, 401 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville. Cost is $10.
