Bikes, Blues & BBQ Bikes, Blues & BBQ hired jimbob Inc. to lead communications efforts for the motorcycle rally. The company was formed a year ago by two brand marketing experts, Jim Gardner and Bob Corscadden, to provide comprehensive branding and communications services for Bikes, Blues & BBQ, including brand development, Web development, advertising, public relations and sponsor recruitment.
“ As the rally continues to grow, we know we have a great story to tell, ” said Bikes, Blues & BBQ event director Nelson Driver. “ Our goal is to effectively tell that story and to increase national brand awareness as we make Northwest Arkansas the destination of choice during the last weekend in September. I believe the popularity of the rally is a testament to the fact that we’ve done some things right. However, we’ve learned a lot in getting here. We’ve experienced some growing pains, but we know we still have phenomenal potential. Now is the time to take it to the next level and we’re confident jimbob Inc. is the right communications partner to get us there. ”
The agency partners both have extensive experience in marketing Fortune 500 companies. Corscadden was chief marketing officer for Tyson Foods Inc. from 2001-2006 and was instrumental in leading the “ Powered by Tyson ” campaign. Gardner was previously chief operations officer and executive creative director for CJRW Northwest (formerly Blackwood Martin ). Prior to coming to Arkansas, he was creative director for one of the world’s largest Internet agencies, Euro, working with some of the most prominent brands in the world including Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, the Olympics and Verizon.
