Fort Worth, Texas

Mary Lou Dana, 89 year-old resident of Ft Worth, Texas, died May 4, 2008, at Odyssey House Hospice.

Born Jan. 24, 1919, in Gentry, Ark., she was the daughter of John and Lucy Test Shaffer. She graduated from John Brown University receiving a degree in music. Dana was a school teacher at Gentry and Centerton. She played organ for both the Baptist and Methodist churches and took up oil painting after retirement. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Gentry United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Suzanne Folsche of Ft Worth, Texas, Deborah Duncan of Covent Station, N. J.; two granddaughters and three grandsons of Fort Worth.

Funeral services were held May 9, 2008, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Rev. Brad Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry.

Wasson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gravette

Laura Michelle Duvall, 40 year-old resident of Gravette, Ark., died May 1, 2008 in Siloam Springs.

Born Dec. 26, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nev., the daughter of Dave Duvall and Hazel Taylor Duvall.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Duvall.

: Hazel “ Tina” Duvall of Bella Vista; two daughters: Cheyene Duvall and Cherokee Duvall of the home. A memorial service was held May 6, 2008, at Promised Land Worship Center, Siloam Springs, with Gary Palmeri officiating. Burial was private.

Joseph Loren “ Joe” Webb, 48 year-old lifetime resident of Gravette, Ark., died May 5, 2008, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Ark.. Born Dec. 21, 1959, in Gravette, he was the son of Elzy and Ida Leary Webb. He was a graduate of Decatur High School and was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Bentonville Street Department for 20 years. He married Cindy Clark on Feb. 17, 1983. Webb was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Suvivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Zack Webb of the home; one daughter, Amanda Webb of the home; six brothers, John Webb, David Webb, and Kenneth Webb, all of Gravette, Rex Webb of Centerton, Ark., Dr. William Webb and Gerald Webb, both of Decatur, Ark.; one sister Lavon Torix of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later date. Wasson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
