Fall Festival
The First Assembly of God in Siloam Springs will host a Fall Festival on Oct. 26 from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. Admission is one canned good for the Manna Center. There will be carnival games, camel rides, a decorated pumpkin contest, horse rides and concessions. The church is located at 927 S. Oak Hill in Siloam Springs. For more information call 524-9541. First Presbyterian Church of Siloam Springs is having a Trunk or Treat event sponsored by the youth group on Oct. 31 from 6 p. m. to 10 p. m. There will be prizes for best costume and most decorated car at 9: 30 and candy and music all night. Girls Night Out
New Life Tabernacle Church, located at 1611 Cheri Whitlock Drive in Siloam Springs, is hosting a Girls Night Out event for single mothers and widows of the community, on Oct. 24, at 6: 30 p. m. This years’ event will be a night of pampering, free of charge, with many local and area businesses giving of their time, service or gifts to make it a special night for the women. A light meal will be provided during the evening along with daycare for children if needed. Expected pampering for the women will be valet parking, car wash and detail services, hair care, manicures, pedicures, massages, and many other great specialties including numerous door prizes. Joy Choir is a fellowship of senior adults who gather to sing, laugh, enjoy friends and serve Jesus in ministry with others.
The choir meets Thursdays from 10 a. m. to 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church, 2000 Dawn Hill Road in Siloam Springs. DivorceCare
First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs will offer a DivorceCare seminar for people who are going through divorce or separation. The 13-week series is on Sundays from 5: 30 p. m. to 7 p. m. in the church parlor. Child care is provided for those attending DivorceCare. Those attending form a small support group of people who also are experiencing separation and divorce. For more information, call 427-0345. Seniors group Community Christian Fellowship is sponsoring a new Seniors Fellowship Group, open to all interested seniors in the Siloam Springs area. The event will be held the second Wednesday of each month from 11: 30 a. m. until 1: 30 p. m.
• Oct. 8 — Space is available on the train from Springdale to Van Buren, with lunch at the Sisters Gourmet Bistro in Van Buren. The cost for this is $ 60. 50 per person and includes the ticket and lunch.
