Friday is county’s deadline for taxes

Friday is the last day to pay Benton County real-estate, personal-property and improvement-district taxes to avoid a 10 percent penalty.
All mail received with a federal postmark after Oct. 10 will be penalized for late payment.
Allow additional time for postal delivery when mailing a payment.
The main Tax Collector's Office - in Room 101 of the Benton County Administration Building in downtown Bentonville - will be closed on Oct. 13.
All other office locations will be open during regular business hours for delinquent tax payments • 300 W. Poplar St. in Rogers • 2308 S. E. 28 th St., Suite 1, in Bentonville • 108 N. E. Main St. in Gravette; and • 107 Lincoln in Siloam Springs.
Residents may make current property-tax payments in person at any of the five office locations, by mail, by phone at (888 ) 272-9829 or at www. collector. co. benton. ar. u s.
Those with delinquent property taxes are asked to contact the office by phone prior to making payment so the office can provide those residents with the current payment amount due to avoid additional delays and penalties.

When mailing tax payments, include the parcel number on all payments and correspondence.
All current taxes must be postmarked by Oct. 10 to avoid penalties and interest.
