WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — A West Siloam Springs man faces charges that he raped and molested two girls — and one girl recently tested positive for a sexual disease.

Charles “ David” Cole, 44, was charged with first-degree rape by instrumentation, first-degree rape, and four counts of lewd molestation.

The felony charges were filed in Delaware County District Court in Jay on Oct. 2.

Cole was set for a hearing Tuesday.

The alleged victims, one 7 years old and the other 8, claimed Cole sexually assaulted them between January and May of this year, according to a press release from Police Chief Larry Barnett of the West Siloam Springs Police Department.

Both girls were examined at a West Virginia hospital, and one tested positive for a sexual disease, the release shows.

Cole also faces charges that he sold marijuana to undercover officers June 16.

Barnett worked with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and the district attorney’s office in the operation.

“ We set up a controlled buy for marijuana from Mr. Cole at his residence in West Siloam Springs, ” Barnett said.

In that case, Cole’s charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent, possession of a firearm while committing a felony and maintaining a place for keeping / selling a controlled substance.

Cole is being held at Delaware County Jail on $ 230, 000 bond on the rape case and a $ 70, 250 bond on the drug case.
