Gentry festival to feature ‘Show Your Ride’ car show

GENTRY — The first annual Show Your Ride car show is being planned as a part of Gentry’s fall festival on Oct. 11.
The show, featuring cars, motorcycles, trucks and offroad vehicles, will be held in the city park and is sponsored by the Gentry Fire Department. Proceeds raised from the show will be used to benefit the department.
A kids’ division for those 15 and under will include a contest for the best-decorated bicycle. A model car division is also on the show’s agenda. No entry fee is required for the children’s contests.
Prizes and trophies will be awarded to winners.
