Many things going on in West Siloam Springs

Well, guess what ? I have no complaints and I am very thankful. I am sure it is a relief to Norma Watson who has been jumping to meet my needs and sometimes, my desires.

Let our heart-felt thoughts be with the Grisham family in their time of sorrow.

He shall long be remembered for the deeds of kindness and happy smiles which were seldom spoken of at the time, but have not been forgotten.

His toe-tapping music often brought happiness to others.

Let us also remember the kindness and words of encouragement from Lettie Jo at the Holly Street Medical Center.

Keep her in your prayers as she prepares for her next surgery.

Halloween spooks are out and about, preparing for the fun and activities for the youngsters to enjoy.

May their actions be pleasing as they shun away from those things that are not right.

Colcord did very well in their games last week. We are proud of them.

A former member of the Siloam Springs Writers, Kenley Happy, is headed for the Air Force next week.

He said not to worry about him.

He will be home in May, after his training. Well, if God be for him, along with his brother, Chance, then who can be against him, is what I say.

Ed and Ann Howe are looking forward with anticipation to moving into their new home. It has been a dream of theirs and now the Lord is bringing it to pass.

They have four children and are faithful to help in their church at Westville.

Ed is co-owner and operator of State Line Heating and Air Conditioning. Ann does handcraft in bead work - an art she learned from her Apache aunt. We wish them well in their new home.

We may class ourselves as poor, but we can recognize our own true wealth when we get older.

We get oil in our hair, gas on our stomachs and gold in our teeth. I guess as long as we can still laugh at ourselves and have fun we are doing OK.
