ENGAGEMENT : Schwerin-Niehus

Susan Schwerin of Gentry, Ark. and Nathaniel Niehus of Jay, Okla., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on May 24, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church in Siloam Springs, Ark.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dennis and Marlene Schwerin of Gentry. She is the granddaughter of Edwin and Mary Esther Schwerin of Gentry and Judith Nehring of Reinbeck, Iowa. She is a 2008 graduate of Southern Arkansas University, where she received a degree in agriculture business.
Her fiancé is the son of Joseph and Beverly Niehus of Jay. He is the grandson of Lorraine Niehus of Jay and Dale Shoffner of Caldwell, Kan. He is the co-owner of Niehus Tree Service.
