State Schools May Get More Money In Next Year's Budget

Public schools will receive an additional $ 64 per student next year under a proposed budget submitted to the Legislature by Governor Beebe.

According to Senator Kim Hendren, per pupil funding will increase to $ 5, 490 from the $ 5, 876 this year if the Legislature approves the proposal.
