We got our first snow Sunday. It wasn’t that much but it was cold and windy.

Shauna and Shyla Bohall of Colorado were visiting friends and relatives in the community week before last. They made a brief visit with Jewel Lukens this week.

Carol Loux attended funeral services for a cousin, Clifford Florer, last Saturday at Falling Springs. The burial was also at Falling Springs Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Orpha Wardlaw spent Thanksgiving in Tulsa, OK, in the home of Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw ) Fincher and children Selena and Zack. I’m sure there were other family members there also.

I went to Clifton and Judy Tucker’s for Thanksgiving Day and had a big dinner. There was plenty of food, talking and picture taking. Judy’s mother and stepfather, Jerry and Lana Ballard of Enid, OK, were there, also Nichole and Nick of Bella Vista, Bobby and Melissa Maddux and Madison, Kade and Khloe Tucker of Springdale.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker’s visitors for Thanksgiving Day were Clay and Patti (Tucker ) King of Lowell, Clay’s daughter Deena and her daughter of Purcell, OK, Sammie Sappington, Staci Hunt and son Noah of Fayetteville. Shelly and Jacob Bishop visited for a while in the afternoon. They all enjoyed a good day with plenty of food.

The Mitchell family had their Thanksgiving dinner at the Maysville Community Building on Thursday. They always have their meal there.

My visitors on Saturday were Steve and Susan Tucker and Seth of Bella Vista, Katie Martin and Katlynn, Tracy Warren and Skyler, Brad Tucker, Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob. Billy Cook spent the afternoon with me also. I cooked and we had a good meal and enjoyed visiting with everyone. Just fifteen more days until Sheldon gets home for Christmas from Hawaii.

Billy and Violet Lovell had Thanksgiving dinner in their home for all their children and families. They had an enjoyable day and I’m very sure there was plenty of food.

Jewel Lukens spent Thanksgiving Day in the home of J. D. and Sue Smith in Cherokee City. I’m sure there were other family members there also.

Sylvia Tucker came up Saturday morning for a short visit. She had to come to town so she just ran by. It’s always good for her to come by.
