Re-enactment Of Prairie Grove Battle Will Be This Week End

The anniversary of the Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park will be celebrated this Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, with a Civil War re-enactment.
The re-enactment this weekend will be held at 1 p. m. each day. Other activities will also be held both days. A new oil painting by Andy Thomas will be presented in a ceremony at 11 a. m. Saturday.
The park is located on U. S. Highway 62 in east Prairie Grove. All regular admission charges are waived but parking is $ 4. 00 per vehicle.
