A Gravette man has been sentenced to 151 months in federal prison for receiving child pornography by computer, according to a press release from the office of U. S. Attorney Bob Balfe.

Randy Forrest, 49, was given the sentence in U. S. District Court in Fayetteville by Federal Judge Jimm Larry Hendren.

Hendren ordered Forrest to pay a $ 5, 000 fine and serve a term of supervised release for the remainder of his life after his release from prison.

The case was investigated by ICE agents and Fort Smith detectives, along with assistance from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and the Rogers and Gravette Police Departments.
