Christmas Parade, Santa Visit Scheduled Dec. 13

Gravette’s annual Christmas parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at noon, according to Patrick Hall, executive director of the Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce.
There is no theme for the parade this year, Hall said, but noted that prizes will be awarded for winning entries.
The parade entries are asked to line up on Charlotte Street S. E. near the Civic Center at 11 a. m. The parade route will be west on Charlotte to Highway 59, then north to Main and east on Main.
Santa will arrive during the parade and will be available to meet with children immediately following
No entertainment is planned this year on Main Street, Hall said, but everyone is being encouraged to attend and enjoy the parade and Santa’s visit.
Hall also announced the Chamber is not planning to sponsor a yard decorating contest this year as in the past.
