Course Corrections Interactive Map

All the maps in "Course Corrections" are generated using GPS coordinates taken by Arkansas Democrat-Gazette staff and Google Maps and are dynamic, interactive maps that are draggable — no clicking and waiting for graphics to reload each time you want to view the adjacent parts of a map. Since these maps are draggable, you can use your mouse or the directional arrows to pan left, right, up and down to see areas that are hidden offscreen. You can also use the slider to zoom in and zoom out. It's like having a huge map you can scroll around in.

Each marker on the map is the location for a story in one of the four "Course Corrections" sections published each Sunday in February 2007. If you click on a marker, it will pop up a "balloon" with a headline and summary of a story with a "READ MORE" link to go to the full story, complete with photos and other information. Try it! It's fun!
