Monday, Oct. 20
4: 35 a. m. It was reported that someone appeared to be shooting fireworks at the Dairy Queen on Riordan Road. A man was working on the parking lot, cutting into the concrete and showering sparks.
8: 04 a. m. Two trucks were broken into on Pendeen Lane.
12: 38 p. m. A Leicester Drive resident reported a stray cat was stuck in a tree and had been there for three days. Cat food was left at the bottom of the tree.
3: 43 p. m. A foreclosed house on Cumbrian Drive was vandalized. Windows had been broken and rocks thrown on the deck.
5: 30 p. m. Jeremy English, 23, was cited for driving on a suspended license on Kincaldy and Highlands Boulevard.
5: 42 p. m. Michael Black Fox, 18, was cited for no proof of ownership on his vehicle. The expired vehicle license belonged to the previous owner and was removed by an officer.
7: 43 p. m. A burglary at a home on Worcester Drive was reported. Tuesday, Oct. 21
9: 38 a. m. A black Lab on Kingsland Lane was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
10: 23 a. m. Alan Yekelchik, 54, was arrested and charged with theft of property, a class B felony. Yekelchik allegedly stole $ 26, 000 from Exact Golf.
12: 22 p. m. A sick raccoon was reported on Quantock Hills Drive.
1: 47 p. m. There was a two-vehicle accident at U. S. Highway 71 and Oldham Road. Merrell Bruggeman, 63, was cited for failure to yield. Travis Cox, 20, was cited for no proof of insurance.
6: 55 p. m. A Lab on Stinchar was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
8: 42 p. m. There was a snake in a residence on Blandford Lane.
9: 11 p. m. Richard Green, 18, was cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55-mph zone at Ipswich and Trafalgar Road. Wednesday, Oct. 22
12: 15 a. m. Some type of very slick substance was all over the southbound side of U. S. 71 near Riordan Road.
3: 20 a. m. A woman on Reighton Circle said a possibly intoxicated man in a neck brace was in a physical fight with the callers friend.
7: 46 a. m. Someone complained that dogs on Sheneman didnt have adequate shelter. The animal-control officer reported the animals had shelter and water.
11: 46 a. m. A pit bull near U. S. 71 and Bear Hollow Road was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
2: 47 p. m. A dog near 622 W. Lancashire Blvd. was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
3: 32 p. m. A street sweeper ran a callers girlfriend off the road at Keighley and Withersby and damaged the underframe of her car.
7: 42 p. m. A woman on Reading Lane saw six people outside a residence with lots of lights on and thought it looked suspicious. The responding officer said the people live in the homes, and everything was OK.
8: 22 p. m. A 17-year-old boy was cited for not having tail lights at Hastings and Thetford.
9: 18 p. m. Robin Wilson, 44, was stopped at U. S. 71 and Bear Hollow and was arrested on warrants from the Rogers Police Department and the Benton County Sheriffs Office.
10 p. m. Someone was trying to set up a false account using information from a woman on Concordia Drive. Thursday, Oct. 23
8: 26 a. m. A truck spilled concrete on Kingsland Road.
8: 57 a. m. A car was blocking the road at Abingdon and Chelsea Road because of a yard sale.
4: 47 p. m. Eric Rankin, 41, was cited for failure to register his vehicle and having an expired vehicle license. He was given a warning for fictitious plates.
5: 23 p. m. A woman on Donnington Lane reported her wedding ring was stolen.
7: 21 p. m. A family disturbance was reported on Rosedale Lane. A 15-yearold boy ran to a neighbor to report his mother had gone ballistic, and he was worried about his 12-yearold sister. The mother was drinking and may have taken a prescription drug. The neighbor called the police.
8: 16 p. m. Someone from Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville called and reported a 5- year-old had been assaulted by a 21-year-old man. The police are investigating the incident.
9: 45 p. m. Simon Keogh, 38, was cited for speeding and no proof of insurance at U. S. 71 and Trafalgar Road.
10: 06 p. m. Keifer Corp, 18, was cited for speeding in the Curves parking lot. Friday, Oct. 24
12: 07 a. m. A pontoon boat had broken loose near the Loch Lomond Marina.
5: 25 a. m. Two people, who looked like teenagers, were walking south on U. S. 71, north of exit 98.
7: 10 a. m. Christopher Hathorn, 25, was booked into the Benton County Jail on a contempt of court charge for failing to appear in court about a speeding violation.
7: 20 a. m. There was a two-vehicle accident with no personal injuries at Cooper and Fite Circle. Ashley Massaro, 27, was cited for following too close.
8: 06 a. m. There was a two-vehicle accident with no personal injuries at Arkansas Highway 340 and Oakhill. Erwin Aden, 80, was cited for following too close.
1: 07 p. m. A dog was left in a vehicle parked behind the Sugar Creek 10 Cinema and with one window barely cracked open. The windshield was broken; the dog was fine.
3: 25 p. m. Harrison Pike, 80, was cited for speeding 46 mph in a 30-mph zone at Hartford and Trafalgar Road.
3: 28 p. m. Tracy Smith, 38, was cited for speeding 54 mph in a 35-mph zone at Euston and Merritt.
3: 39 p. m. Aubree Barnes, 35, was cited for speeding 47 mph in a 30-mph zone at Horatio Lane and Trafalgar Road.
3: 58 p. m. A woman on Embelton Drive was being harassed by a man in a truck.
4: 05 p. m. Samuel Crawford Jr., 35, was cited for speeding 50 mph in a 30-mph zone at Deddington and Trafalgar Road.
6: 41 p. m. A woman with a laptop computer had been sitting in her car outside a home on Berkshire Drive. The caller believed the woman was getting on the Internet using the homes service. An officer reported the woman had the homeowners permission to use the Internet.
10: 47 p. m.. A caller reported his neighbor was outside revving his motorcycle.
11: 36 p. m. Richard Todd, 41, was stopped at U. S. 71 and Pinion Valley and was booked into the Benton County Jail after being charged with driving while intoxicated and no proof of insurance. Saturday, Oct. 25
2: 52 a. m. There was a disturbance on Ancroft Lane. A husband and wife had an argument. He was moving out and was going to take his rifles, but she didnt want him to take them because he had been drinking.
8: 41 a. m. William Parson, 52, was cited at Ardwell and Scotsdale for leaving the scene of an accident.
9: 44 a. m. A man was harassing a woman at a residence on Riordan Road by banging on doors and windows.
11: 58 a. m. There was an injured raccoon under a back deck on Garrison.
4: 48 p. m. Gary Grosnickle, 73, was cited for an expired tag at U. S. 71 and Shakespeare.
5: 22 p. m. A dog on Trafalgar Road was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
5: 39 p. m. Devin Snow, 22, was cited for having an expired vehicle license on Arkansas Highway 279 near Highlands Christian Church.
8: 26 a. m. Stephen Henry, 25, was stopped in the Harps Food Store parking lot and was arrested on warrants from Bentonville and Benton County. He was taken to the Benton County Jail. Sunday, Oct. 26
1: 15 a. m. A woman said her 17-year-old son had sneaked out and run away from his home on Annabell Lane.
9: 24 a. m. A caller reported a man in a pickup truck was hunting with a gun on Ingleborough Drive.
4: 48 p. m. A woman stopped at the Police Department to report she had found bruises on her 4-year-old son after he had visited his father. The woman thinks a step-sibling is involved.
4: 51 p. m. Edward Janssen, 21, was booked into the Benton County Jail and charged with raping a 5-year-old girl.
8: 30 p. m. A disturbance was reported on Yates Drive.
