Richard Smith added a special memory to his visit with “ The Mulligans ” on April 28 when he scored his third hole-inone in 53 years of playing the game. Using a 6-iron, he made the ball soar 148 yards before it landed in the cup on the fifth hole at the Bella Vista Country Club Golf Course. Witnesses included Chad Godbee, Gary Murray and Jack King.
Smith said the upside was watching the ball go in the hole, and the downside was having to buy everyone beer at the 19 th hole.
