BV man nominated for home builder award

LITTLE ROCK — A Bella Vista builder was nominated for the 2006 Home Builder of the Year Award.
Daniel Cowin, of Cowin Construction, was one of 27 home builders and six subcontractors from across the state to be nominated.
Shrader Media Group, Inc., publisher of Building Arkansas Magazine, hosted the second annual 2006 Arkansas Home Builder of the Year Awards Banquet Feb. 23 at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock.
In late 2006, Building Arkansas Magazine began taking nominations for the 2006 Home Builder and Subcontractor of the Year and assembled a group of veteran home building professionals to select the winners. The selection process was based on information submitted by each nominee.
Bill Bosley of Bosley Construction was named the 2006 Arkansas Home Builder of the Year. Bosley, a builder in the Central Arkansas area, is deeply involved in the Arkansas residential building community, and has served on a number of boards and committees relating to his trade. In addition, Wayne Ray of EW Ray Construction was awarded the 2006 Arkansas Subcontractor of the Year Award. Ray is out of Jacksonville where his company trims new homes in the Central Arkansas area.
