Immigration information series begins April 20 at NWACC

ROGERS — Northwest Arkansas Community College Adult Education begins this month hosting a series of immigration information sessions. The first of these meetings is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 20. Ben Aldama, director of Adult Education, said he is excited that NWACC Adult Education ESL students will have access to free legal information regarding immigration issues. Arminda Ferguson, a local attorney, will lead each session. "Arminda has eight years of experience in immigration law and has been in private practice since 2000," said Aldama. "She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association, American Bar Association and she is the American Immigration Lawyers Association Liaison to the U.S. C. I. S. in Fort Smith."

The sessions are free and will be presented in Room 117 in the Adult Education Center, 2800 N. Second Street, Rogers.
