Betts named Decatur valedictorian

Claire Betts has been named valedictorian of the 2008 Decatur High School senior class.
Betts is the daughter of Mark and Gaye Betts.
She is a member of the Academic Challenge Education team, the National Honor Society and the Student Council. She is also an honor graduate and Arkansas Scholar. In addition to her academic achievements, Betts has participated in basketball, softball and track.
