Eastside Bird Poster winners named

Winners of the Youth Bird Poster contest winners at Eastside Elementary School in Rogers were:
• Third grade: Daniel Talley, first; Morgan Menke, second; Makayla Brewer, third; and Janeth Ortiz and Zak Varner, honorable mention.
• Fourth grade: Lesley Jimenez, first; Miguel Velasco, second; Marcos Silva, third; and Guadalupe Gonzalez and Brian Lemus, honorable mention.
Lesley Jimenez also won second place for fourth grade in the Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. statewide Bird Poster contest.
Awards were presented at an assembly on April 4.
