U. S. Chamber awards Davis
The U. S. Chamber of Commerce has awarded Rich Davis, vice president of economic development for the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, with a $ 500 Regent Scholarship to attend the Institute for Organization Management at one of four sites across the country this summer.
The institute is an industry leader in nonprofit education and professional development. Scholarship recipients will attend a five-day session at one of the Institute’s four summer college campus locations.

Habitat for Humanity of Benton County Inc. will hold its fourth annual Hammer and Nail Golf Classic at Lost Springs Golf Course in Rogers on May 16.
This is a four-person, best-ball scramble with other events, such as longest drive for men and women, closest to the pin, longest putt, a putting contest and a hole-in-one prize hole. Mulligans will also be sold. Shotgun starts will be at 8 a. m. and 1 p. m., with lunch from 11: 30 a. m. to 1: 30 p. m. Individuals, teams and sponsors are welcome.
