Brad Karren's enthusiasm made the difference for us in deciding who to endorse for Rogers district judge.
That may seem like an odd way to settle on a candidate in a race for a judgeship.
But if Karren brings the energy to running the district court that he's brought to his career so far - and to his meeting with our editorial board - the court should be in good hands. It should run smoothly and efficiently.
And it should be run fairly. Karren brings that to the table as well.
There are two other solid candidates in this race: Ben Lipscomb and Casey Croxton. Lipscomb especially stands out as someone who could do a fine job sitting on this bench.
But Karren stands out as someone we think has the potential to make an outstanding judge. We'd like to see him get started here.
