Bentonville District Court Judge John Skaggs thinks his experience sets him apart from his challengers, Steve Geigle and Lisa Gaddy. Skaggs is right, and there really isn't much else to say about this race.
Skaggs has done a good job as judge. He may be a bit stern for some, but a court appearance, at any level, was never really meant to be a walk in the park.
The key consideration should be whether justice is administered fairly - and when it comes to Skaggs' court, we believe that it is.
Geigle and Gaddy don't strike us as being ready for this. And besides, we see no real reason to make a change here. Skaggs has our support.
