BHS girls, boys down Har-Ber

SPRINGDALE - Three players scored two goals each for the Bentonville Lady Tigers in a 7-0 soccer win Tuesday against Springdale Har-Ber at Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium.

The Lady Tigers (18-1-1, 3-0 in 7 A-West ) won their fifth straight game. They led 2-0 at halftime.

Har-Ber fell to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Cortney Sanders scored a pair of goals to give her 21 this season. April Miller added two goals, giving her 16. Melissa Perkins also scored two goals and Rylea Wallace added a goal.

In the boys'match, Bentonville topped Har-Ber with three first-half goals from Eric Martin and won their fifth straight.

Martin's hat trick gives him 9 goals on the year.

The Tigers improved to 10-2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Har-Ber is 3-6-1 overall and 0-3 in the 7 A-West.
