Former Benton County Justice of the Peace Beverly Williams set to address Democratic Women

BENTONVILLE - A former Benton County Quorum Court justice of the peace will address members of the Benton County Democratic Women's Club on Jan. 26.
The speaker is District 10 former JP Beverly Williams. The title of her address is "How a Democrat Makes a Difference in a Republican World."
The meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Bentonville.

She worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Sen. John McClellan, D-Ark., and was president of the International Trade Association of Northern Virginia. She founded and was president of the Capitol Hill chapter of the National Organization for Women.
Williams later served as president of the Southwest Little Rock Business Association for two years and served in the federal government, getting lengthy experience in program and contract management, specializing in conservation and alternative energy sources.
When the District 10 JP resigned in 2007, Williams was appointed to the Benton County Quorum Court by Gov. Mike Beebe and served the remaining 13 months of the two-year term.
