Bella Vista incidents

Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista Police Department according to records, were the following:

• At 7: 24 a. m. Nov. 10, an incident of assault and battery was reported on Borlen Lane.

• At 2: 02 a. m. Nov. 10, a woman on Duxford Circle reported hearing loud noises on the east side of her house.

• At 5 a. m. Nov. 10, a dead deer was removed from Hebrides and Highlands Boulevard.

• At 11: 39 a. m. Nov. 10, a Great Dane and a black Lab on Reighton Drive were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 11: 56 a. m. Nov. 10, a large white dog with brown spots on Wyncombe Lane was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 4: 59 p. m. Nov. 10, a possible home fire was reported on Brightling Lane. The home had smoke in it, but no flames. A closed damper had caused the residence to fill with smoke.

• At 9: 12 p. m. Nov. 10, an officer helped a man push his car out of the road near Arkansas Highway 340 and Trafalgar Road.

• At 9: 53 a. m. Nov. 11, a tan Chihuahua at Kingsland was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 10: 11 a. m. Nov. 11, a sick raccoon was reported at the RV Park at Blowing Springs.

• At 10: 26 a. m. Nov. 11, money was reported stolen from a wallet on Hope Drive.

• At 3: 46 p. m. Nov. 11, a 2002 Ford pickup truck was reported on fire on Heswall Lane. Originally, the caller thought a field in the area was on fire, but it was the truck, which had been reported stolen to the Rogers Police Department. The fire was out at 4: 05 p. m.

• At 4: 26 p. m. Nov. 11, a refrigerator with a door still attached was reported in a yard on Grisham Circle.

• At 5: 29 p. m. Nov. 11, items were reported stolen from a residence on Headley Drive.

• At 6: 32 p. m. Nov. 11, tools, a motorcycle helmet and other items were reported stolen from a carport on Selby Lane.

• At 11: 02 p. m. Nov. 11, a calf was reported on Arkansas Highway 279 near the Boys and Girls Club.

• At 12: 16 a. m. Nov. 13, a raccoon was reported trapped in an enclosed back deck on Garrison Lane, and the animal was very upset because a woman had sprayed it with mace.

• At 7: 52 a. m. Nov. 13, three plastic bags with entrails and blood were reported left on Kinloch Circle.

• At 4: 35 p. m. Nov. 13, a beagle that had been tied to a tree on Marina Drive was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 10: 57 p. m. Nov. 13, a loud party with music was reported on Westbury Drive. The residents turned the music down.

• At 6: 36 a. m. Friday, a three-vehicle accident occurred at U. S. Highway 71 and Riordan Road involving a Federal Express truck, a passenger vehicle and a school bus. The two people in the car were taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

• At 8: 15 a. m. Friday, a white schnauzer was removed from Wellington and taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 8: 17 a. m. Friday, a Harps employee reported three forged checks were returned from a financial institution.

• At 10: 02 a. m. Friday, two black puppies were found on Sable Drive and were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 10: 07 a. m. Friday, a Troy Circle resident reported finding two black puppies. They were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 10: 52 a. m. Friday, two puppies found in the Tiree Park area were brought to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. Shelter employees reported that all six puppies were from the same litter.

• At 11: 07 a. m. Friday, a white van was reported off the roadway in the woods near Arkansas Highway 340 and Newquay.

• At 1: 54 p. m. Friday, a cocker-spanielmix dog was removed from Bosworth Circle and taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 9: 10 a. m. Saturday, a 1-year-old red chow was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 10: 07 a. m. Saturday, several callers reported that seven or eight donkeys were running loose in the Dillow Drive area. The owner was contacted, and the animals were contained.

• At 9: 26 a. m. Saturday, a man was reported asleep in a car at Washington and Howland.

• At 12: 54 a. m. Sunday, approximately 15 intoxicated men were reported fighting in a yard outside a home on Bascombe Lane.

• At 8: 49 a. m. Sunday, two men living at Concordia were reported exchanging blows.

• At 1: 19 p. m. Sunday, a Finger Circle resident reported that a neighbor was cutting down trees on the caller’s property.

• At 9: 47 p. m. Sunday, a Hatcher Drive resident reported gunshots behind the house.

• At 7: 51 a. m. Monday, a caller reported that the driver of a brown two-tone oldermodel Durango hit a car on Cooper and Gore and didn’t stop.

• At 9: 01 a. m. Monday, a medium-size black-and-white dog was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 9: 21 a. m. Monday, a caller reported that someone had dumped Styrofoam, tires and deck building materials on Florence Lane.

• At 12: 20 p. m. Monday, two terrier puppies on Darlington Drive were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 12: 40 p. m. Monday, a puppy was found on Boise Drive. The animal came from a family of puppies found on several different roads on Friday.

• At 12: 54 p. m. Monday, a woman on Evesham Lane reported a blood hound and a beagle were starving. • At 5: 31 p. m. Monday, a dead deer was reported caught between the sea wall and water on Lake Windsor. • At 6: 39 p. m. Monday, a woman on Hartsfield Lane said she had reported a barking dog several times. She was very upset and said she was going to take care of the problem herself. • At 11: 36 p. m. Monday, a caller on Abingdon Lane reported an older-model car was going up and down the street. Nov. 10, Christa Burton of 9965 Admiral Way reported her dog had been shot with a pellet gun. • At 12: 55 p. m. Nov. 10, Sue Wood of 13395 Bryant Place reported a burglary. • At 4: 50 p. m. Nov. 10, a caller reported an assault and battery. • At 10: 59 p. m. Nov. 10, Stacy James of 20903 E. Dawn Hill Road reported her car stolen. • At 9: 45 a. m. Nov. 11, a caller reported an assault and battery. • At 9: 14 p. m. Nov. 11, Lucy Letney of 11192 Sheppard Place Road reported a burglary. • At 1: 19 p. m. Wednesday, Steven Mason of 378 N. A St. reported a theft. • At 7: 31 a. m. Nov. 13, Patty Webb of 12297 Cavewood Road reported the theft of a log splitter and a chain saw. • At 7: 30 p. m. Nov. 13, a caller reported an assault and battery. • At 1: 47 p. m. Friday, Carolyn McGaugh of 2650 Wagon Wheel Road reported money stolen. • At 2: 50 p. m. Friday, Bryan Leach of 134131 Bryant Place reported a mailbox broken into. • At 3: 50 p. m. Saturday, a caller reported an assault and battery. • At 10: 31 p. m. Saturday, a caller reported an assault and battery.

• At 1: 23 p. m. Sunday, Mary Lou McGarrah of 4000 Luper Road reported a gas can stolen from her car. • At 1: 44 p. m. Sunday, Mike Andreasen of 15657 Sugar Creek Road reported the theft of a flat-bed truck. • At 3: 23 p. m. Monday, Sandy Beebe of 14008 Gentilly Road reported the theft of several DVDs and CDs. • At 9: 34 p. m. Monday, Marvyn Browning reported a burglary with some clothes and five sodas stolen. • At 11: 44 a. m. Nov. 11, J. B. Hardin reported trespassing at the intersection of Marina and Northeast Lake Point.

• At 11: 48 a. m. Nov. 11, a couple reported harassment at the Bentonville Butcher and Deli, 1201 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 12: 29 p. m. Nov. 11, Peggy Smith reported an injured dog at the intersection of Northwest Ninth and A streets.
