Starlight Ballroom Dancers Club
The club will meet Nov. 19 at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. A dance lesson will be given from 6: 30 p. m. to 7 p. m., followed by dancing with DJ taped music from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. Entry to Riordan Hall is free for those with a Property Owners Association photo ID card; otherwise, the entry fee is $ 2 per person.

Felder Rushing, author or co-author of 15 gardening books, will give a presentation on “ Slow Gardening: Less Input and More Rewards” at 10 a. m. Saturday at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville.

The society will meet at 5: 30 p. m. Nov. 17 at the Bentonville Public Library.

Bella Vista Chapter 1547 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will meet Friday at the Metfield Clubhouse in Bella Vista. The meeting will start at 10 a. m. Breakfast will be available before the meeting, or members can stay for lunch after the meeting.
The speaker will be Chris Knife from the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches.
All current and retired federal employees and their spouses are welcome.

The club will hold its annual Christmas party Dec. 12 at the Metfield Clubhouse in Bella Vista. A social hour will begin at 5 p. m., with a buffet dinner featuring three entrees served at 6 p. m. Following dinner, special holiday music will be provided by the Bella Vista Women’s Chorus. The cost per person is $ 17. The club meets the fourth Wednesday of the month January through April and in September and October at United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road in Bella Vista, starting at 11: 30 a. m., followed by refreshments at noon.
This Thursday, the club will host its second annual card / game party with the proceeds going toward horticulture scholarships.

The club will host its Christmas party at the Metfield Country Club in Bella Vista on Dec. 7. A social hour will begin at 5 p. m. with hors d’oeuvres at 6 p. m. The cost is $ 12 for adults and $ 6 for children ages 5 to 12.

The club will meet at 11: 30 a. m. Nov. 17 in the Village Insurance Community Room for a pizza party and bingo. The hosts will be Tom and Norma Clark. They will furnish beverages and table service.
