Bella Vista incidents
Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista division of the Benton County Sheriffs Office according to records, were the following:
At 12: 15 a. m. Oct. 22, some type of very slick substance was reported all over the southbound side of U. S. Highway 71 near Riordan Road.
At 3: 20 a. m. Oct. 22, a woman on Reighton Circle reported a man in a neck brace who might have been intoxicated was in a physical fight with her friend.
At 7: 46 a. m. Oct. 22, dogs on Sheneman were reported without adequate shelter. The animal-control officer reported the dogs had shelter and water.
At 11: 46 a. m. Oct. 22, a pit bull near U. S. 71 and Bear Hollow Road was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
At 2: 47 p. m. Oct. 22, a dog near 622 W. Lancashire Blvd. was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
At 3: 32 p. m. Oct. 22, a caller reported that a street sweeper ran his girlfriend off the road at Keighley and Withersby and damaged the underframe of her car.
At 7: 42 p. m. Oct. 22, a woman on Reading Lane reported six people outside a residence with lots of lights on and thought the situation looked suspicious. The people lived in the home, and everything was OK.
At 8: 26 a. m. Oct. 23, a caller reported that a concrete truck had spilled concrete on Kingsland Road.
At 8: 57 a. m. Oct. 23, a car was reported blocking the road at Abingdon and Chelsea Road because of a yard sale.
At 5: 23 p. m. Oct. 23, a woman on Donnington Lane reported her wedding ring was stolen.
At 7: 21 p. m. Oct. 23, a family disturbance was reported on Rosedale Lane.
At 8: 16 p. m. Oct. 23, someone from Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville reported a 5-year-old assaulted by a 21-year-old man. The police are investigating the incident.
At 12: 07 a. m. Friday, a pontoon boat was reported broken loose near the Loch Lomond marina.
At 5: 25 a. m. Friday, two people who looked like teenagers were reported walking south on U. S. Highway 71 north of exit 98.
At 1: 07 p. m. Friday, a vehicle with a dog in it with one window barely cracked was reported parked behind the theater. The windshield was broken, and the dog is fine.
At 3: 58 p. m. Friday, a caller reported that a woman on Embelton Drive was being harassed by a man in a truck.
At 6: 41 p. m. Friday, a caller reported that a woman with a laptop computer had been sitting in her car outside a home on Berkshire Drive. The caller believed the woman was getting on the Internet using the homes Internet service. An officer reported that the woman has the homeowners permission to use the Internet.
At 10: 47 p. m. Friday, a caller reported his neighbor was outside revving his motorcycle.
At 2: 52 a. m. Saturday, a disturbance was reported on Ancroft Lane, involving a husband and wife arguing.
At 9: 44 a. m. Saturday, a man was reported harassing a woman at a residence on Riordan Road by banging on doors and windows.
At 11: 58 a. m. Saturday, an injured raccoon was reported under a back deck on Garrison.
At 5: 22 p. m. Saturday, a dog on Trafalgar Road was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
At 1: 15 a. m. Sunday, a woman reported that her 17-year-old son had sneaked out and run away from his home on Annabell Lane.
At 9: 24 a. m. Sunday, a caller reported a man in a pickup truck was hunting with a gun on Ingleborough Drive.
At 4: 48 p. m. Sunday, a woman stopped at the Police Department to report she had picked up her 4-year-old after a visit with his father and found bruises on the child, and she thought a step-sibling was involved.
At 8: 30 p. m. Sunday, a disturbance was reported on Yates Drive.
At 6: 54 a. m. Monday, three horses were reported loose in front of the Heritage Baptist Church.
At 7: 19 a. m. Monday, horses were reported loose again and were near 501 Highlands Blvd.
At 8: 17 a. m. Monday, someone stopped at the Police Department to report jewelry and a wallet were missing.
At 9: 44 a. m. Monday, a possibly sick fox was reported in the road near Brunswick and Hampton.
At 11: 33 a. m. Monday, a St. Bernard and a gray dog on Nantwich Circle were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
At 2: 35 p. m. Monday, a possible sick raccoon was reported on Wentworth Drive.
At 2: 51 p. m. Monday, a dog on Pamona Drive was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
At 2: 55 p. m. Monday, a possible sick raccoon was reported on Nottingham Drive.
At 3: 23 p. m. Monday, a two-vehicle accident was reported at U. S. Highway 71 and Dartmoor. One person was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.
At 4: 59 a. m. Tuesday, a woman reported a prowler near her front porch on Westbury Drive.
At 7: 34 a. m. Tuesday, a woman on Clyde Lane reported the theft of her silver 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara with a dealer tag that had expired Monday.
At 9: 01 a. m. Tuesday, an Arkansas State Police officer asked for help to stop a gray dump truck that had caused rock damage to a car. A Bella Vista police officer stopped the truck and collected information from the driver.
At 9: 30 a. m. Tuesday, a dump truck on Trafalgar lost control and drove across U. S. Highway 71, through trees and stopped before reaching the Kingswood Golf Course. At 11: 45 a. m. Tuesday, someone stopped at the Police Department to report credit-card fraud. At 5: 14 p. m. Tuesday, a Suzuki Grand Vitara with a dealer tag struck a tree on Salen Lane. It was the vehicle reported stolen from Clyde Lane at 7: 34 a. m. The case is under investigation. At 4: 19 p. m. Saturday, Charles Brewer, 2 Brewer Circle, reported someone broke into his shop and stole some items. At 9: 06 a. m. Sunday, James Barrett, 404 South Primrose Road, reported his dog was stolen from his yard. At 4: 31 p. m. At 6: 15 p. m. Oct. 21, a caller reported someone broke into a house at 834 E. Kara Lane.
At 8: 39 p. m. Oct. 21, a caller reported someone put sugar in the gas tank of a vehicle at 2109 Commons Circle.

At 8: 32 a. m. Oct. 23, a caller reported a 1989 gray Honda CRX stolen from Pawn USA, 901 S. Eighth St.
At 9: 04 a. m. Oct. 23, a caller reported two mowers stolen from a barn at 4300 W. Oak St.
At 8: 18 p. m. Saturday, Roxanne Norris reported a disturbance at 209 Big Tree Drive.
At 8: 44 p. m. Saturday, Jenny Isom reported a suspicious vehicle at 4609 S. W. Swinton Drive.
At 10: 36 p. m. Saturday, an unidentified caller reported loud music at the clubhouse and pool at Polo Park, 8200 S. W. Regional Airport Blvd.
At 11: 55 p. m. Saturday, Shonda Brown reported a disturbance at 1600 Phyllis St.
At 12: 56 a. m. Sunday, Emily Wright reported suspicious activity at 404 Camellia Drive.

At 1: 11 p. m. Sunday, Randy Wade reported that someone threw a pumpkin and knocked over a mailbox at 1002 Memorial Road.
At 1: 59 p. m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person threw a blue bike in a ditch and started walking.
At 3: 57 p. m. Sunday, Kim Higson reported that someone damaged a mailbox with a pumpkin at 204 Tunbridge Drive.
At 4: 30 p. m. Sunday, Becky (no other name given ) reported a stray dog at 206 S. E. A St.
At 6: 05 p. m. Sunday, Brenda Taylor reported the theft of a scarecrow and two pumpkins from her yard.
