Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild The guild will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Arts Center of the Ozarks, 214 S. Main St. in Springdale.

Marilyn Stewart will present the program. Northwest Arkansas Personal Computer User Group The group will meet 1 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Education and Computer Center in the north wing of the Jones Center for Families in Springdale. The program will be a questionand-answer session.

There will be a dance lesson from 6: 30 p.m. to 7 p. m., followed by dancing with DJ. taped music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Entry to Riordan Hall is free for those with a Property Owners Association photo ID card; otherwise, the entry fee is $ 2 per person.

Membership dues are $ 25 per couple or $ 12. 50 per person from September 2008 to May 2009.

Benton County School Retirees The group will have a lunch meeting at 10: 45 a.m. Tuesday at the Crumpet Tea Room, east of the Wal-Mart Supercenter just off Pleasant Grove Road. Granny's Quilts of Love The group met Aug. 19 at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. Marge Crowder conducted the meeting. Twenty-one members were present with four guests - Marleen Cunningham, Valerie Lohbeck, Betty Jean Carnes and Marge Krasnesky.

As of the meeting date, 6, 700 quilts have been made for Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

The group's annual dinner and auction were held Aug. 23.

The next meeting will be at 9: 30 a.m. Sept. 16 at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.

Vickmark has been executive director of CASA of Northwest Arkansas for nearly five years. The meeting is open to the public. The buffet lunch costs $ 10. Nebraska Club The club will host the Big Red Tailgate at Bella Vista's Avalon Pavilion prior to the Nebraska-Virginia Tech football game on Sept. 27. Club members and guests are invited. A social hour will begin at 11 a. m., followed by a meal at noon. The Metfield Neighborhood Grill will cater.

The cost is $ 8 per person and $ 4 for children 5 to 12 years old. Reservations and checks should be mailed to Twyla Bahr, 9176 Grimes Drive, Rogers, AR 72756. The reservation deadline is Sept. 19. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Club dues for 2008 are $ 5 per person and should also be sent to Bahr at the above address. New paid memberships are valid through 2009.
