Commission sets ballot positions

BENTONVILLE - The Benton County Election Commission held drawings Thursday to determine the order in which opposed candidates' names would appear on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Below, the office being sought is followed by the names of candidates, in the order in which they will appear on the ballot.
• President and vice president: Ralph Nader, Matt Gonzalez, Independent Party; Cynthia McKinney, Rose Clemente, Green Party; Bob Barr, Wayne Allyn Root, Libertarian Party; John McCain, Republican Party; Chuck Baldwin, Darrell L Castle, Constitution Party; Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Democratic Party; Gloria La Riva, Eugene Puryear, Socialism and Liberation Party.
