Run for a Child is Monday

ROGERS - The Run for a Child will be held Monday at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade.
The start time is 8 a.m. There will be a 10 K run, a 5 K run and 1-mile walk. Registration will be from 6 a.m. to 7: 30 a.m. The 10 K course is certified for competitive runners. The event will benefit the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.
The 5 K and 1-mile courses are for children and families to walk or run. The entry fee includes the running events, food, beverages, goody bags, prizes, awards and fun for the whole family. On race day, children can visit the Kids' Zone.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, a pre-race expo will be held in the Pinnacle Hills Promenade parking lot under the tents.
