BELLA VISTA - "Stretch," the third charity production by the Clever Rogues Theatre, had a profit of about $ 3, 000. All proceeds were given to the Bella Vista Library.
"Stretch," an original play by Dr. Richard Beck and Dr. Ginger Hamilton, was presented at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista Aug. 15 and 16. The Clever Rogues Theatre has three primary goals: providing affordable theater productions, producing original scripts and donating the profits for local nonprofit groups. The repertory group seeks original scripts and new players.
Tickets to the play were affordably priced at $ 5 each. Board officers of Clever Rogues are Dr. Ginger Hamilton, president; Jane Burns, secretary; and Dr. Richard Beck, treasurer. Board members include Sue Van Hook, Barbara Fielding, Bette Schernikau and Richard Muir.
The next benefit show is scheduled for March 5 and 6 at Riordan Hall.
