More candidates filed for municipal office

BENTONVILLE — On Monday, six more candidates filed petitions for municipal offices to secure their places on the ballot. Monday was the ninth day for filing petitions.
Candidate packets are available throughout the county, but they must be returned to the Benton County Clerk’s office by noon Aug. 26.
The following candidates filed for office Monday: Cave Springs City Council Larry M. Fletcher, Ward 3 Position 2; and
Randall J. “ Randy ” Noblet, Ward 3 Position 2. Springdale mayor
Jim L. Reed; and
Ken Watson. Springdale City Council
Ed Gilean, Ward 2 Position 2. Lowell City Council
Mary “ Marty ” Lathern, Ward 4 Position 1. Gateway City Council
Joseph B. McMahon, Position 4.
