Bella Vista incidents Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista Police Department according to records, were the following At 12: 53 a.m. Thursday, a patrolman spotted a white male hitchhiking on U. S. Highway 71 Business south of the rest stop. The man left with his grandmother.

At 1: 33 a.m. Thursday, a Hampstead Circle resident reported some kids were back and were messing with a light pole again. An officer was unable to locate them and noted no damage had been done to the pole.

At 2: 23 a.m. Thursday, an officer reported stopping a silver Toyota 4-Runner, but its occupants were not the people who were fooling around with the light pole.

At 4: 12 a.m. Thursday, a caller on Dunholme Drive heard an unusual noise, got up and looked outside. His utility door was open, but he did not see any unusual cars.

At 4: 56 a.m. Thursday, a woman called to report her sister-in-law had called her and said her brother was not breathing. He was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

At 7: 26 a.m. Thursday, three puppies were reported on Warcop Lane, one black and two black-and-white spotted. Two dogs were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

At 7: 55 a.m. Thursday, two men were reported walking south on Chelsea near Mayfair, and there was no vehicle seen. Officers reported that a vehicle parked between the dams belonged to the men, and everything was fine.

At 9: 16 a.m. Thursday, the Dairy Queen manager reported four paintballs were shot at the business's north-side windows. Officers will make additional patrols in the area.

At 9: 17 a.m. Thursday, a Wandsworth Drive resident reported a sick raccoon on a boat. An officer was unable to locate the animal.

At 9: 51 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported that brown dogs were loose at night in the area of Newlyn and Veryan and had been urinating on the caller's vehicle tires. An officer spoke with the owners and advised them of the city's dog ordinance.

At 10: 01 a.m. Thursday, an Estes Drive resident reported a man and a woman next door were screaming and yelling, and it sounded like someone was kicking a wall. No one was at the residence upon the officer's arrival.

At 11: 38 a.m. Thursday, harassment was reported by a resident on Mellor Court.

At 12: 42 p.m. Thursday, a dog was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter from Melanie Drive.

At 1: 22 p.m. Thursday, a caller on Farnham Drive claimed a neighbor was harassing her dogs At 1: 39 p.m. Thursday, a Formby Lane resident reported dogs barking and puppies whining. An officer was unable to locate the animals.

At 3: 53 p.m. Thursday, James Weeks, of Ranskill Circle, reported a baby raccoon in his flower box near the end of his driveway.

At 9: 41 p.m. Thursday, a Rea Circle resident reported that a light-tan, four-door Chevy Silverado truck was sitting outside of the caller's house. A friend pulled in, and the truck sped off quickly. An officer was unable to locate the truck At 2: 21 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a vehicle was driving erratically on U. S. 71 near Walgreens.

At 7: 25 a.m. Friday, a caller reported that a suspicious-looking blond woman who appeared to crouch down had driven around the neighborhood on Whitstable Circle for about 15 minutes.

At 8: 36 a.m. Friday, a man on Wimbledon Way reported fraudulent use of his credit card.

At 10: 36 a.m. Friday, a sick raccoon on Wandsworth Drive was taken care of.

At 11: 22 a.m. Friday, a tractor was reported holding up traffic at Arkansas Highway 340 and west Chelsea when a car crossed the center line and was hit by a truck. Three people were taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

At 8: 57 p.m. Friday, a man on Tuxford Circle reported his wife, who had a protection order issued against him, was calling him at home and at work.

At 8: 32 a.m. Saturday, a black, white and gray sheltie near Arkansas Highway 279 and Ottery was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

At 11: 48 a.m. Saturday, someone on Thirsk Lane reported a copperhead in the backyard.

At 12: 25 p.m. Saturday, a car that was for sale and two semi-trucks that were parked in a no-parking area were red-tagged, a warning to move the vehicles within 24 to 48 hours or the police would have them towed.

At 1: 55 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle was reported parked in the fire lane at Cunningham Corner.

At 3: 46 p.m. Saturday, a small black dog on Natwitch Circle was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

At 4: 22 p.m. Saturday, three people riding all-terrain vehicles near Sugar Creek Center were given warnings, and their parents were contacted to pick them up.

At 5: 06 p.m. Saturday, a man pounded on a door on Shetland Drive, and the woman in the house refused to answer the door. She said he claimed he had paper from the court and flashed a badge that said "Judge Black. "The man was a process server, who last name is Black, and he was at the wrong address.

At 6: 16 p.m. Saturday, people were reported shooting arrows at a fake deer target at Loch Lomond Park. They told an officer they stopped shooting if anyone got close.

At 6: 25 p.m. Saturday, a possible sick raccoon on Alyce Lane was removed from a trash bin and released.

At 6: 42 p.m. Saturday, a 9-year-old girl was riding her bike on Hope Drive and lost control. She rode into the back wall of a carport, had head injuries and was transported by Air Evac helicopter. At presstime, it was unknown where she had been taken. At 8: 29 p.m. Saturday, a man and woman were reported yelling on Bure Lane.

At 1: 25 p.m. Sunday, a possible rabid raccoon was reported on a front porch at Pembroke Drive.

At 3: 17 p.m. Sunday, a man at a residence on Whitfield Lane reported that his wife was being violent.

At 4: 21 p.m. Sunday, following a physical disturbance on Redruth Lane, one person was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

At 5: 10 p.m. Sunday, a man was reported selling puppies near the propane tanks at U. S. 71 and the state line.

At 6: 17 p.m. Sunday, a verbal disturbance was reported between two men on Evesham Lane.
