Child porn found on phone

BENTON COUNTY — A Benton County man was recently arrested because he allegedly had a photo of a 15-year-old partially nude girl on his mobile phone.
Michael Hunley, 39, of 1 Heavy Chevy Road, was arrested on a charge of computer child pornography, a class B felony. He also faces counts of criminal use of a prohibited weapon and two misdemeanors.
Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies in the Crime Suppression Unit went to Hunley’s home recently after receiving an anonymous tip of illegal drugs being used there, said Doug Gay, public information deputy for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
Hunley, who lives southeast of Siloam Springs, gave deputies consent to search his home.
They found a knife with brass knuckles for a handle, drug paraphernalia and plastic bags with suspected methamphetamine residue.
The deputies also found photos on Hunley’s mobile phone of a girl who looked to be under 18 years old, Gay said.
At least one photo showed the girl partially nude.
Hunley, a convicted felon, admitted to investigators that the girl in the photo is his 15-year-old girlfriend, Gay said.
